About the Studios
RAWR offers three ways of being with language.
Literary Lab teaches you to read and write as a writer.
Nature Studio teaches you to observe and write as a field scientist.
The Reader's Study teaches you to read and think as a reader.
A student can do one, two, or all three. Each is complete on its own—and each one deepens the others.
Literary Lab
A three-student reading and writing seminar. Students closely read two novels per term, studying how professional authors make deliberate craft choices at the sentence level. Original writing follows from that reading. Every term ends with a published Literary Zine: a curated collection of original work the student drafted, revised, and designed herself.

Tuition: $75 per session, billed per term

Reader’s Study
A three-student discussion seminar. Students read one book per term—slowly, with genuine attention—organized around a single guiding question that shapes every discussion, annotation, and piece of writing. Every term ends with a published Reader's Zine—the student's own account of not only what they understood about the book, but how it changed the way they think.

Tuition: $50 per session, billed per term.

Nature Studio
A five-student outdoor writing studio. Students observe the living world at a local park—a specific organism, a patch of bark, the light at 11am on a weekday morning—and write about what they find with a field scientist's precision and a writer's craft. Every term ends with a published Field Zine: original observational writing the student gathered, drafted, and designed across twelve weeks of real outdoor sessions.
